A number of Hornby Wagons and older 4 wheel generic carriages have a molded Big D coupling in to an extended downward buffer beam, this converter is reasonably straight forward to fit and maybe suitable for other wagons, or carriages, they are based on the Bachmann Bulleid converters, although slightly different.
